I have over 30 years experience in public accounting, banking and business services. After starting my career in public accounting (1981-1993), I spent more than 15 years in community bank management (1993-2009), before returning to public accounting in 2009. Beginning in 2010 and through December 2013, I worked as an independent contractor for Henry Woods, CPA located in Plymouth, Minnesota to provide financial audit, financial reporting, and accounting consulting services to churches, private Christian schools, and other non-profit organizations. In January 2014, Ed Bonnema, CPA and I formed Freeman & Bonnema, PLLC (CPAs) with the goal to continue to provide affordable, effective accounting and financial services to churches, schools, and other ministry organizations. We currently work with over 100 Non-Profit organizations nationwide.
