Appointed as the Refrigeration Product & Marketing Manager post-purchase of Northern Refrigeration Wholesale by Refrigeration Parts Wholesale Limited to form FSW in 2010. Responsible for setting up of a new branch in Cardiff from scratch, located suitable premises, managed the installation of trade counter office mezzanine floor etc., handled recruitment for the staff and worked on stocking of the premises.• Focused on identifying and visiting all prospective customers, share details about the new branch and the products offered by the company.• Handled the setting up of the customer’s accounts and created the relevant discounts structure.• Conducted a detailed analysis of the market, interacted with the prospective and existing customer base, identified opportunities, gained a thorough understanding of their requirements and presented technical/commercial solutions.• Led negotiations and coordinated the sales activities to ensure smooth implementation and achievement of high customer satisfaction levels.• Identified what the customers expected from their local wholesaler and understand the specifications of the products they purchased on a daily basis which they couldn’t purchase from an AC& R wholesaler.• Increased the product offering beyond recognition, by stocking electrical cable and components, waste pipe, a more comprehensive range of condensate pumps, air conditioning and cellar cooling.• Added a wide range of tools and site equipment to the product range with a focus on making the company a specialist in refrigeration tool supplier within the UK market. • Designed and implemented sales and marketing campaigns for the overall product range to generate awareness among the customers and achieve an increase in sales and margins.
