  I have been working for KDOT since 1992. I started as part time and became fulltime in July of 1994. I started out EOI on 1994, ETA on 03/18/95, ET on 06/17/96, ET SR 04/18/99, and then promoted to ET Specialist on 06/25/00. During the time of being the ET Senior I ran our construction office without and engineer for 3 1/2 years. Assistance was given to me from Area Engineer when needed. I had a crew of six at that time. I have been project manager on many projects which consisted of asphalt overlays and bridges. I have help each year in designing projects for our 1R programs. In 2004 I was place in a temporary position as construction manager for a short period of time while current construction engineer was deployed with the Air Force. In 2015, current construction engineer transferred to another KDOT office and I was again put into a temporary position as the construction manager, and currently hold that position. I have been responsible for training of other technicians, and Engineering Associates. I am responsible for all project reviews, reviewing all paperwork, which includes the finalization of project. I have been responsible for all the consultants we hire for our projects. I am very familiar with our Construction Management System (CMS). I am hoping to retire within the next year and half.
