I am a trained scholar and researcher exploring informal adult learning in organizational contexts. Currently employed at the University of Connecticut, I teach graduate courses and advise students in teaching and learning methods, program planning for adult learning, and organizational learning. In addition, I am a qualitative methods expert with extensive teaching and research design experience in case study, ethnography, interpretive, phenomenological, and critical research in education, organization, and non-profit settings. I collaborate and work with organizations to support the learning and educational needs of their employees, volunteers, and visitors/customers. This includes designing and serving as principle investigator on grants, writing and advising on policy development, and consulting on instruction and training design, data collection and analysis, and organizational development. I continue to seek opportunities to work in the fields of human resource development, qualitative research, and adult learning.
