K9Sensus serves working K9s by teaching trainers to decode animal perceptions and responses to stimuli. Our progressive, research-based training translates theory into practice, empowering people to truly collaborate with their K9 partners. We provide custom training to canine handlers and public safety professionals throughout the world.The Working K9 Handler Academy trains and coaches working dog handlers/trainers all across the nation.

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to aid Research Scientists at Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) supporting the US Army Dept. of Defense.

Serving as an independent evaluator to research centers supported through the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) program (http://www.nsf.gov/eng/iip/iucrc/). The NSF I/UCRC program was initiated in 1973 to develop long-term partnerships among industry, academe and government. NSF invests in these partnerships to promote research programs of mutual interest, contribute to the nation's research infrastructure base, enhance the intellectual capacity of the engineering or science workforce through the integration of research and education, and facilitate technology transfer.Center Evaluator responsibilities include: (i) attending industry workshops where standardized evaluation activities are carried out to ensure compliance with NSF guidelines; (ii) coaching Center and Site Directors how to operate efficiently and effectively in a startup-like environment where university researchers, industry and non-profit center members learn how best to collaborate; (iii) participating on teleconferences with centers and/or NSF, as needed; and (v) writing up post-industry meeting reports and an annual report on each assigned center. Deploy at various venues with explosives and narcotics detection canines. Develop training plans and protocols for narcotics and explosives detection dogs. Train dogs and certify through national organizations.

Manage breeding program for registered Red Angus and Belted Galloway cattle, miniature donkeys and Labrador Retrievers. Select genetics and breeding crosses to further elite genetics, design vaccination protocols, complete necessary paperwork to maintain a registered herd, track animals throughout their time on the farm. Design and develop marketing and sales plans for freezer beef and animal sales. Bottle feed baby animals and aid in machinery maintenance.

Set strategic direction to further business goals through innovative and collaborative partnerships in K12 education and university spaces. Represent the multifaceted aspects of various Pioneer and DuPont business units and functions as well as university faculty and staff to create a win/win environment for University Relations. Activities include the database administration of the MicroEdge Gifts System and establishment of a university comprehensive relationship management program. Manage ongoing relationships with university administrators, faculty and leadership from various national organizations.
