My responsibilities include managing the Digital Media Productions team. I am also the team’s writer and producer, a position I have held for almost 20 years. My duties include handling personnel and budgets; coordinating client interface; and producing, writing, and editing videos and multimedia materials for educational, informational, and community service projects. In addition, I serve as the gatekeeper for all production requests, schedules studio usage, assign projects and crews.

Write and produce video, print and multimedia productions for both internal and external clients. Responsible for coordination and budgeting of in-house television studio operations as well as field productions. System administrator for Blackboard Learning Management System, assisting faculty with online courses. Knowledgeable in web design and desktop publishing with Dreamweaver, InDesign and Pages.

Manage learning projects from needs analysis to deployment, considering the complexities of diverse audiences. Served as Instructional Designer for online American History course being revised into an Open Educational Resource course as part of a national grant program. Working with a CeL mentor and Subject Matter Expert, responsible for all aspects of course creation using the ADDIE model, from learner analysis and design, through content creation and final evaluation and review. Developed course materials and designs for multimedia learning objects. Created course in Blackboard for Fall 2017 implementation.
