This role has given me a wealth of experience in a range of environments and skills. Particularly in sports marketing, social media management, content creation, and events.The role revolves around increasing participation in sport and physical activity at Bournemouth University. The main way I've approached this is by improving our marketing. I do this through a range of targetted avenues to ensure students are aware of all the sporting opportunities available.Highlights in my first year have been;- Increasing our social media following and engagement rapidly within three months.- Being a part of our annual Varsity event and running a football tournament with 8 student teams.- Managing 14 media students and the collection of collateral at the opening ceremony of our new sports facilities after a £3 million investment.

During this short-term role, I was responsible letting student properties to Bournemouth University students. This involved leasing between the students and landlords which was fantastic for strengthening my communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.

Bellmans Auctioneers was pivotal in developing my customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. Throughout the years, as my role developed, I gained more responsibilities. This included being entrusted with the care of the highest value items and ensuring their safety and transition from our stores to the customer. Additionally, I was partially responsible for training and managing new porter staff.

During my time here, I coached rugby to children between the ages of 9-12, both at local schools and at Bournemouth Rugby Club.Unfortunately, this role was cut short by the pandemic. Although, I have not lost my passion for passing on my knowledge of rugby in fun and engaging ways.
