Design and completion of new business questionnaires, pre-tenders and tender documents for the MGI domestic and international institutional sales teams. Responsibilities included:- Provide portfolio performance and attribution analysis.- Interviews and consultations with Investment Managers.- Development and maintenance of systems for information capture.- Complete understanding of investment processes for Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset and Alternative funds.- Review and manage work of underlying team.- Team manager - performance reviews, hiring, training new team members.

Leading a team of five analysts dedicated manager research and asset class analysis. Reporting to the Chairman with ultimate accountability for the research output. Responsibilities included:- Quantitative research, sector screening, analysis of performance, risk and style or sector biases.- Qualitative research on Management Group, Investment Team, Process and Performance Appraisal.- Fund Manager and Analyst interviews to assess the investment process and its implementation.- Report writing on funds and general sector or industry topics.- Training and development of junior analysts and in-house brokers/financial planners.- Senior management team reporting.- Development of in-house research systems.
