Responsibilities:• Collected data for the structural integrity of above-ground storage tanksby using the NDT (non-destructive testing) procedure. • Testing of critical components used in a rocket engine, strap on motors, and fuel tank. • Applied testing criteria following applicable specifications/standards and evaluate results. • Work with engineers/scientists on establishing quality criteria for new inspection materials used for space applications. • Work with material supplier companies at outstations for material film Interpretationtesting and quality assurance to obtain a better result at the production site itself.• Qualification of various metallic and non-metallic materials used for space applications. • Report preparation and disposition based on established accept /reject criteria.• Work with clients on plant shut downs to complete accurate inspections on all equipment using various NDT techniques on plant and equipment and provide client reports in a timely manner
