As a member of the Office of Survey Methods Research (OSMR), plan and direct a continuing program of research by evaluating statistical and behavioral science aspects of survey programs, suggesting improvements, and by conducting statistical development studies with the aim of providing sound and effective survey techniques for BLS programs.-Serve as consultant and advisor to subject matter specialists and agency officials responsible for broad operational programs on issues involving the theory and application of statistics. -Research areas include cognitive sources of measurement error, memory retrieval, context effects, questionnaire design, experimental and qualitative research methods, usability.

• Managed teams of researchers ranging from 4-10 people on research protocols, supervised work, provided training on protocols, delegated tasks as needed• Taught and mentored members of research lab in research protocols, research design, and statistics in variety of laboratory and online experimental studies• Instructed two courses (Introductory Psychology and Naturalistic Field Research) • Designed and implemented courses, creating the syllabus, lectures, assignments, and exam questions; honed excellent oral communication skills by delivering PowerPoint lectures that summarized complex information in a clear and succinct manner
