A two month internship in Touax Global Container Solutions under the sales/commerce department. My primary tasks were:• Deployed Microsoft Excel to meticulously examine and analyse contract terms, identifying and addressing any discrepancies found between the terms recorded in official documents and those recorded in the company's container movement tracking system.• Engaged in daily customer interactions, providing prompt responses to inquiries related to specific container concerns, while collaborating with Operations & Customer Service teams for efficient issue resolution.• Participated in company quarterly review meetings & in-person meetings with clients to discuss current market situations.

Working in the SAF allowed me to undertake leadership roles in military exercises and day to day military operations. My primary job entailed ensuring the welfare of my team, educating the platoon on military proficiencies and leading my team during missions.Notable Awards:- Best Trainee & Best in Physical Training (Guards Conversion Course)- Commander of the Month (October 2021)- Best in Physical Training (Recon Commander Course)During my time as a cadet, I learnt the value of discipline through regimentation and perseverance after undertaking gruelling military exercises. As a sergeant, I learnt the importance of ownership for my team, in their welfare and in developing their skills to perform at the level required by the company.

As part of the Junior Achievement competition, we found a social problem affecting my school, plastic bottle wastage, found an innovative solution to prevent the wastage and encourage recycling. As president, we created a sustainable enterprise producing recycled pencil-cases and our goal was to turn a profit and donate it to charity.To do this we collected plastic bottle wastage by setting up specific trash points for collection of these bottles. We managed to not only collect plastic bottles for our project but additionally to raise awareness of the plastic consumption and need for recycling in our community.We used the plastic bottles to create pencil cases with colourful designs, we created our very own production team within our company. In order to facilitate the production we had to raise share capital and we managed to do so by selling allotted shares to friends and family, it was the VP of Finance and my responsibility to oversee the proper management of these finances. The production was headed by the VP of Production who created an effective method to create these plastic bottle pencil cases and even encouraged art students to decorate them. We then began selling them at our school stall, through classmates and during our school fairs, learning to use different distribution channels. All our proceeds were donated to a charity.
