In January 2016, after a decade of practicing criminal law in Idaho, I started Robin Kirkham Law, LLC in Murray, Utah with a focus on family law and mediation.I represent clients in family law matters such as divorce and paternity actions, helping to settle issues involving child custody, parent time, and division of assets. I also represent children in family court matters as a private Guardian ad Litem (PGAL) and in juvenile court matters on a conflict basis.I am on the Utah court roster of domestic mediators and enjoy helping mediation clients resolve their issues without trial.In Idaho, I served as a Deputy Public Defender for Twin Falls County, largely representing adult clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies. During that time I covered the Child Protection and Juvenile dockets for almost two years and remained involved in them through the end of my time in Idaho. I was also able to represent the Public Defenders Office in the Drug Court and Mental Health Court programs in that county.For the past few years, I've volunteered with the Utah chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and became a board member in 2023. While working with the AFCC, I've served as co-chair of the Membership Committee as well as the Volunteer Coordinator.
