I did work for Clemson University for the MPA Degree Online Program and did so for seven years. I really enjoyed my job as it gsve me access to people from all over the world and it gave me the opportunity to learn from them. Also, I was very fortunate to work for/with truly amazing people. I am grateful for that.I am currently working on my Master's in American History online at the University of North Alabama. I am on the Board for the Liberty History Museum; a position that I am proud to be a part of. I am a non-traditional student as I was late to the game in getting my education. I first went to Tri-county Technical College where I earned my Associates degree. It was there that I learned how to be a student, a valuble lesson that allowed me to excel at Clemson University when I started there in 2012. I credit Tri-County Technical College with my future academic successes. I entered Clemson University in 2012. During my time there, I made life-long friends, continued to learn how to be a successful student, and had opportunities that continue to be a significant part of my life. I was inducted to four honor societies while attending Clemson, of which I credit my Professors and fellow students. And I made the Deans List twice. My past education has helped me as a Graduate student, of which I am grateful for. I was very fortunate in my career, my co-workers/employer, and my educational opportunities. I enjoy learning. My motto concerning history is: How do you know where you are going if you do not know where you have been?
