Introducing Waters N Light Reiki N Books. I am a Certified Reiki Master Teacher providing Reiki sessions and classes in private practice at 2535 Ceanothus, Suite 124, Chico, CA at the office of my husband, David Casper, LMFT and soon Reiki-related classes online at Learn it Live Academy. We will be having practices, Reiki shares, and renting our office to other Reiki practitioners to use by the hour. Looking forward to having space for myself and my students to develop and grow. Reiki classes also continue at Chico Therapy Wellness Center, in Chico, California. Classes are scheduled for Reiki One for students to become Certified Reiki Practitioners twice a year. CEU's are available through the center. I participate as a co-peer leader in Reiki Intro classes for Chico State University's Osher Life-long Learning Institute class to introduce Reiki and provide mini sessions for students. The 2015 Reiki Volunteer Pilot Program at Enloe Cancer Center was a success and we are now developing it into a regular program. I'm looking forward to coordinating services and classes. It is wonderful to realize my dream of integrating Eastern energy medicine in the form of Reiki with conventional healthcare. We will soon be recruiting for Reiki Volunteers so I will keep folks posted on our progress.

In Mindful Max and the Mental Magic Club, a middle grade early reader chapter book, an eight-year-old boy, Max, suffers from grief over the loss of his mother and longs for the pride of his sad and distant father. He starts a problem-solving club with his neighborhood friends. Using mindfulness skills learned from his mother, he helps his club maneuver through tough problems by looking within and breathing through mental and physical pain. In the process, he wins the pride and attention of his father. Lucky Lucky the Love Puppy is a picture book about a cute, endearing dog who wears his heart on his paw. Young children engage with Lucky's expressiveness and with parents, caregivers and teachers, are encouraged to express their own feelings as a result. I am currently brewing up a new project as well as learning about self-publishing. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in the position of Mental Health Therapist, I provided services to youth and families for Butte County Department of Behavioral Health, including assessments, psychotherapy, coordination of services with other service providers including case management, psychiatrists, psychologists, and protective children services. I specialized in working with young children, though saw older youths and always worked with families. I provided play therapy, Theraplay, children and adolescent therapy, EMDR, creative expressive therapy, and family therapy, and parenting support.
