WGI is a New York City-based NGO focused on promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through activities in the areas of sustainability, impact investment, public policy, and education.. A new project in collaboration with Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA)'s Picker Center for Executive Education is the Impact Investment Case Study Project, which is producing a series of video-and-text case studies highlighting change-makers in this important field. Along with WGI Co-Chair Jasmine Wang, I am also on the Advisory Board of United Nations UNITLIFE, a new global project to combat malnutrition in mothers and newborns in the 70 Least Developed Countries (LDCs).

The International Development and Public Policy Alliance (IDPPA) was inaugurated in 2012 to connect scholars and practitioners in major emerging economies to collaborate in the areas of research, teaching, and policy action. The member-institutions are all graduate schools offering high-quality master’s degrees taught in English that offer rigorous training in global development and public policy analysis for the next generation of policy-makers.IDPPA has held annual conferences (which I chaired) in Beijing, Istanbul, Delhi, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, and Cape Town from 2013 to 2019. Worldview Global Knowledge Services, LLC (WGKS) is a New York-based consulting firm with clients in universities, government agencies, international organizations, and private companies. Current focus is on global investment and strategy services, primarily in education, technology, and executive training. Also working on innovation in higher education. Past projects include leadership training for Chinese mayors in the Netherlands, as well as urban systems and flood control in China, and numerous education projects and training programs. WGKS is also linked with Worldview Global Impact (WGI), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit dedicated to promoting awareness of sustainability and new technologies for social impact, with a special emphasis on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

FLA is a dynamic new K-12 international school located in Hainan, China, on the South China Sea coast. Its innovative curriculum includes courses focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, and environment. The faculty consists of seasoned professional educators from China, the US, Canada, Germany, South Africa, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Russia, and Latin America.

The MGPP was Russia's first global public policy master's degree and opened in September 2014. Utilizing the best Russian and international scholars and practitioners as professors, MGPP was taught entirely in English and was designed to prepare its graduates, as future leaders and professionals, to address global challenges with sound public policy. RANEPA is a key Russian institution that plays a unique role in Russia's policy-making, implementation, and research. Strategic partners were the World Bank and McKinsey.

BNU's School of Social Development and Public Policy (SSDPP) is China's premier development studies and social policy graduate school. It is also a prominent think-tank in China on issues such as social security reform, healthcare, social policy, and disaster relief. I worked with the Dean of the School, Zhang Xiulan, who is a top thinker in her field, and with a young and dynamic faculty. I taught in SSDPP's Master's on Contemporary Development of China program, an English-language degree program in which I was also Senior Academic Advisor. We had students from over 20 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Working with the Knowledge and Learning Division (Europe and Central Asia), I worked on an advisory team to the newly-consolidated Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), providing assistance on public policy initiatives along with colleagues from China, Canada, South Africa, and the UK.

Served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the largest and most comprehensive professional school in its field in the US. Created and staffed the Office of Student Affairs, chaired the Admissions Committee for the Master of International Affairs Program, and served on the SIPA Executive Committee. From 2005-7, was the first Executive Director of the Global Public Policy Network (GPPN), a consortium led by SIPA, LSE, Sciences Po Paris, and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.
