About Robin Macleod
My background of structural inspection has allowed me to understand the OSHPD structural requirements for the building frame and the non-structural anchorage requirements of the typical M.E.P. systems within the building. This includes equipment anchorage, seismic bracing, and exterior window wall system supports, to name a few. The OSHPD TIO requires the IOR to oversee the owner’s testing lab to ensure the integrity and compliance with the approved plans and specifications.I have worked full time as an OSHPD licensed hospital IOR since 1994 and previously, I performed inspections with Smith Emery Co. as a structural Deputy Inspector with licenses in Concrete, Masonry, Pre-stress, Structural Steel Erection, High Strength Bolting and Structural Steel Welding.I have been Inspecting continuously for 40 years.
