I am a self-employed marketing consultant. I started my career in London West End advertising agencies and have now over 20 years experience working on a broad range of design, advertising and marketing projects. I have particular expertise in corporate events and creative design of marketing materials. Having worked at and then run a small-medium marketing & events agency, from 1995 I elected to operate as an independent consultant/adviser. My role is to work closely with my clients, interpret the brief and objectives, assemble an appropriate team and manage the entire project on behalf of and in support of my client. Within this role I oversee all supplier briefing and negotiation, as required, and manage the design/production schedule and budget.

As an Advisor - Team Leader at Smartt Business, I work closely with a network of UK business advisors to leverage Smartt Business AI services for client success. By optimising the use of AI tools, we are able to enhance client value and drive revenue growth. Through collaborative efforts, we are able to achieve significant improvements in client outcomes and business success.

In my role as a Tutor and Skills Coach at The JGA Group, I collaborate on developing apprenticeship course curricula and delivered training to apprentices in diverse sectors. By focusing on engaging and supporting apprentices, I achieved high completion rates and positive feedback. My role allows me to develop strong communication and coaching skills while contributing to the growth and development of apprentices.

I am an active member of the ibd Business Advice Group network and co-chair of the London regional group, hosting monthly meetings for the members in Greater London. We offer business advice to the SME sector. The network has over 200 members across the UK with experience in a wide range of business disciplines and market sectors.

The Women's Engineering Society (WES) was set up in 1919 and is a charity that represents the needs of women working in engineering and all the STEM professions. I have been working with WES for over 5 years assisting with their fantastic annual event programme. My primary role is to assist in the engagement with the corporate sector and, in particular, to build sponsorship revenue from WES supporters/partners in the STEM industry to help fund all WES events and on going initiatives.
