• Timely reconcile WBC and SGB brand operational GL and host Office accounts - These accounts encompass statutory trust accounts as well as settlement, clearing, reject and suspense account types across the domestic Industry clearing streams.• Responsible for reconciling different products' accounts on daily basis. These products are Fixed Rate Personal Loan (Including insurance premium and rebate), Dynamic Currency Conversion, E-Conveyancing, Westpac Equipment Finance and Bank Cheque - As all of these reconciliations are involved with the movement of transactions initiated by a customer reconciliation must be accurate and timely in order to avoid customer complaint and risk of loss to the bank.• Complete reconciliations to the Group standard and post Oracle GL entries in compliance with the WBC Group Journal Policy. • Accurate and timely completion of daily reconciliations within agreed service levels. • Matching off outstanding items in GL accounts via different reconciliation system such as SMART, TLM and Online Reporting, and processing manual entry to match off exceptions in the GL accounts. • Identifying, investigating and clearing current and aged variances of accounts. • Gathering documentation and preparing WRAP (Westpac Reconciliation Approval Process). Communication with auditors and Finance. • Liaison with stakeholders - Identify, Build and maintain relationships to ensure end to end process remains current and up to date. • Identifying process improvements with cost saving benefits and quality improvements.

Ensure meeting minutes and any actions are recorded• Prepare and distribute daily overdraft report to operations team to investigate and resolve• Perform the monthly Physical Assets reconciliations including investigating changes of Physical assets holding• Prepare formal monthly high level reconciliation overview report for COO and operations teams• Assist the team with any Archiving• Ad hoc duties, e.g. End of Financial Year follow up of Chennai operations teams to clear reconciliation breaks, and instruct to update HiPort Report Generator
