He has led, contributed and worked on projects covering a range of demographic, economic, and housing matters across the country, for the public sector, private sector and community groups. He has expertise in: The analysis of economic and labour market trends. The provision of background research and data for business case development and funding bids. Advice and Analysis to support all stages of Local Plan preparation, and Developing place and strategic narratives – understanding how places work.

Led on the set up and management of the corporate research function for the newly formed unitary council. Designed and managed a substantial “so what does it mean” research and data synthesis for senior management and leadership with a range of summary papers and service specific policy pointers.
