Conduct initial client interview and initial investigation (photographs, take recorded statements of witnesses), put carriers on notice, respond to all correspondence from both carriers, resolve property damage, prepare medical summaries and time lines, monitor client's medical treatment, prepare civil remedy notice, prepare demand package for settlement of case, responsible for communicating with client, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel; attend IME's (PIP and litigation), respond to discovery requests, negotiate settlement of cases, negotiate liens (health, W/C, doctor bills, etc.) assist with mediation and trial. Responsible for developing and recruiting business to the firm and developing business referral sources (average yearly fees to firm from my sources - $200,000). Work in team environment with attorney (managing partner) and secretarial support staff.
