Teaching is my passion and my inspiration. As a previous nanny and Montessori teacher, I love to inspire peace, mindfulness, drive, perseverance, patience, and love for learning. I feel honored every day to learn with the children. I feel helping others makes for a truly fulfilling career.I have devoted my life to educating children. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. As I followed this passion, I started down a very traditional path. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State. I then went on to earn a Colorado teaching license. After graduation, teaching jobs were scarce yet I found a job as an aftercare teacher at a Montessori charter public school in Jefferson County. I marveled at the children’s love for learning and their compassion for one another. The more I worked with the children and the materials, the more I fell in love with the Montessori philosophy and works. After finding my true passion for Montessori I earned my AMS Montessori certification from Montessori Education Center of the Rockies. I dedicated myself to the same school for eight years and led my own classroom for 4 years. After dedicating myself to teaching I decided to try my hand in an extremely satisfying carer in nannying 5 amazing children for 3 years. I am excited to expand my knowledge and embark on a new adventure.
