Dr Robin Nagy is an Educational Consultant and Director of EffortTracking.com and AcademicProfiles.com.au which respectively assist schools to measure and track student Effort and to analyse their results and effectiveness of their Teaching and Learning programs. From 2018-19 he was Professional Learning Consultant for the Mathematics Association of NSW and continues to run Professional Development for Teachers of Mathematics for MANSW. Robin was a practising teacher for more than 20 years. He worked for four years as the Dean of Students at Redlands School, Sydney and for six years at Cranbrook School, Sydney as a Housemaster and teacher of Mathematics. Robin also worked internationally as a Mathematics teacher and Head of Year at Bangkok Patana International School, Thailand and City of London School, UK. Robin's career originated in industry as a firmware development engineer. He has served on the Executive of the Mathematics Association of New South Wales for several years and has presented at numerous state and national conferences on Mathematics Education and the Measurement and Tracking of Student Effort as a means of supporting intrinsic motivation for learning. He recently completed his Doctoral research on Effort Tracking at UNSW.
