The game has received over $500,000 in funding from the Canadian government and various corporate and community foundationsHow it began:An award winning game for social workers and pre-teen girls to talk about sex trafficking in the USA. Awarded a nearly $20,000 Sappi Ideas That Matter grant for work on a class project, in partnership with ECPAT-USA, to help social workers screen for possible trafficking victims through game play with pre-teen girls.Now, in its second phase, Say No More has been given a Community Grant from Telus with the aim to further scale the game by digitizing our efforts. The online game will be used to empower vulnerable populations through technology in Canada.
