Continuing my work at PSI primarily focused on demanding laser stabilization tasks.Performing tasks such as initially gathering requirements for new laser setups, then designing them, ordering the required equipment, setting it up, characterizing the performance carefully and finally also supporting the systems over their lifetime. Often done together with MSc and PhD students carrying out much of the practical work supervised by me.

Postdoctoral researcher in the trapped-ion group of the ETHZ-PSI Quantum Computing Hub.First helped to set-up and get a room-temperature ion trap apparatus up and running, and then focused on laser stabilization tasks, building three 729 nm laser setups with Hertz-level stability together with a Master student.

Managed internal tools used to calibrate the firing algorithm in airbag ECUs:• Gathered feedback on existing tools, suggested improvements and implemented them (C#, Matlab, Excel).• Reduced the time needed to generate calibration reports from hours to minutes.• Evaluated tools from Germany for adoption in Japan, communicating with both sides.
