Acts in a leadership role for the program, articulating program needs and reporting program issues to Director. Participates in the development of strategies for retention of graduate nurses and, with Human Resources, in the interviewing and hiring process. • Direct manager on record for the first 6 months of 1 year program, with direct oversight of resident’s progression through all program components and the development of innovative strategies for the success. Collaborates, develops, and implements the graduate nurse residency program curriculum, in collaboration applicable governing bodies and committees. Conducts investigatory meetings, while maintaining labor-management relationships. Responsible for developing, implementing, and follow-up of corrective action plans.
