Working as a Well Site Drilling Engineer currently on the Thistle Abandonment project for EnQuest on board the Thistle Alpha. Facilitating continuous improvement through after operation reviews, capturing of lessons learned and creating open discussions on board. Within this role I am able to support the Drilling Supervisors and assist with writing of work instructions, reports and time tracking of operations.

Provided Well Site Drilling Engineer services on the Kraken project for EnQuest on board the Transocean Leader. Drilled and completed the remaining wells of the development from the DC4 template.

Supported the Senior Drilling Supervisor during drilling of two ERD wells from the Magnus platform. Performed duties such as compiling casing tallies, cement calculations, writing work instructions and capturing lessons learned for after action reviews.

Worked as Lead Drilling Fluids Engineer on the Kraken project using state of the art drilling fluids such as Primofaze - a "reversible" RDF able to flip from oil wetting to water wetting.

Continuing work as a Lead Engineer responsible for wellsite planning, operations and paperwork for drilling and completion fluids. Currently working with EnQuest on their development of the Kraken field on the Transocean Leader. Recent work includes a deepwater project off the coast of Lanzarote for Repsol and HTHP work in the Dutch sector of the North Sea for Wintershall.

Given the oppertunity to take on the Lead Engineer position responsible for planning and implementing fluids operations. Gaining experience of different drilling fluids and drilling operations. Working for clients such as Shell and Senergy.Experience of using a range of both water based and oil based drilling fluids. Proficient in the use of PON XV trackers and additional chemical usage trackers allowing the forward planning required to ensure there are no violations.

Experience of maintaining fluid operations for BP, TAQA and SPD/Endeavour. As a second engineer I have used and maintained a variety of different fluid systems. I have gained experience of a variety of both water based and oil based drilling fluids such as:Water based fluid:-Bentonite and polymer spud muds.-KCl/Glycol polymer mud for drilling formations sensitive to hydration.Oil based drilling fluids:-Versaclean LTOBM-Second engineer for the first UK application of an oil based fluid with a flat rheological profile.

Working as a roughneck on a hydraulic land rig allowed me to gain valuable rig experience. I partcipated in all aspects of well site activity from spudding to completions.
