I founded Creative Writing Club - a writing resources site with materials and interactive apps on 40 popular writing themes. Aimed at KS1, KS2 and KS3 writers - topics include everything from the Stone Age to sci-fi and Shakespeare. The materials came out of 10+ years of experience of leading creative writing workshops in schools in the UK and worldwide with Authors Abroad.

My work as an author has taken me all over the world - leading creative writing workshops in schools. I've developed a number of fun assemblies that tie in with the themes of my children's novels. These are fun performances along the lines of a one man show - but interactive and packed with audience involvement. Historical shows: the Romans, the Stone Age, the Greeks, the Vikings, the Anglo Saxons, graphic novels and Introduction to Shakespeare. So far I have completed 14 international tours - lasting between one week and three weeks per tour. During my visits I undertook a number some super-sized writing sessions with over 120 children at a time! I performed to audiences of up to 500 people. I offer inset sessions for staff, where I pass on my Accelerated Writing techniques. These are designed to get every child's ideas onto paper - no matter what their English level is.'During his visit to St. Andrew’s, Robin joined the staff to share with us some super INSET to an audience that included primary and secondary teachers. Robin challenged us to think about the barriers to writing for children and to come up with effective ways we could break these barriers down. It was a super opportunity to work with colleagues in an enjoyable, fast moving and practical way that really made us think about how we can help our children to be more enthusiastic and more accomplished writers. I founded the children's publisher Mogzilla - which creates innovative books and graphic novels for children and teens. Mogzilla's list includes 1970's icons Roobarb & Custard, five Spartapuss novels and Alex Keller's popular 'steampunk' series Haywired. The graphic novel London Deep by Robin Price and Paul McGory was selected as a Recommended Read for World Book Day 2011. Mogzilla are distributed by Orca and represented by MMS sales agency.

I've written thirteen children's books including the Spartapuss series (set in ancient Rome in a world ruled by cats) and Beowuff (an Anglo Saxon dog who battles against the Vikings ). My graphic novel London Deep was chosen as a Recommended Read for World Book Day 2011 in the 9-12 category. I've also edited/produced a number of books, graphic novels and ebooks for Mogzilla. I wrote and co produced a short animated pilot based on I Am Spartapuss - my first novel. This was a co-production between Mogzilla and King Bee Animation.

I was commissioned by the Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust to lead a series of 15 creative writing workshops with secondary schools in Stratford Upon Avon and the towns in the surrounding area. In conjunction with experts at the SBT, I devised original materials where students create scenarios based on Shakespeare plays. They then work together to write original poetry inspired by Shakespeare. The materials include language input from Shakespearean words and source texts for the plays: The Tempest, Macbeth, Richard III and Romeo and Juliet. Students visited the SBT's archive and got a close look at some of the original books which were amongst the source texts for the plays. The series of workshops culminated in a live performance by participating schools in the Queen Elizabeth hall at the Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust where students performed some of their compositions.

Surface Impression specialise in web and aps for Arts and Culture orgs. Between 2007 and summer 2012 I assisted Surface Impression with account management, business development and editorial direction on a number of websites including The Jewish Museum, The Society of Psychoanalysts, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and many others.

I helped to oversee the relaunch of the government's Sure Start website.

At Channel 4 Education, I devised and commissioned content for a special called 'Addiction week' which focused on aspects of drug and alcohol addiction. Highlights included post show webchats and an interview with Hardeep Singh-Kohli.

I produced the relaunch of a bi-lingual kids website that promotes cultural/educational links between England and Germany. The site is co-funded by The British Council and The Goethe Institute.

Devised a new content offering for the TV channel site and recruited a team to design and produce it.Oversaw redesign/re-launched of the site in Nov 01 and again in July 02.Editorially responsible for all the channel's online content including: Shooting Stars, Liquid News, 60seconds, Johnny Vaughan Tonight, Recovered, Sex Warts & All.

I devised and launched BBC So - the BBC’s first website for teens. Highlights included: getting Britney Spears to offer agony advice (she wasn't toxic back in those days);UFO webcams (we overcame compliance issues after successfully arguing that aliens were not license-fee payers!); and Mokemon (a Pokemon spoof which was reprinted in the Daily Mirror!) The site was short-listed for the Yell.com award Best Youth site in Sept 2001. By this time, the site was getting over 1 million page impressions per week and out-performing a string of famous BBC brands.

I oversaw all the children's online content for the BBC and commissioned websites for many well-known CBBC programmes including: ‘Blue Peter’, ‘Newsround’, 'Byker Grove' 'Live and Kicking' etc.

I produced the ‘Kids’ and ‘Games content for News International’s LineOne service.I also launch-produced the first http://www.foxkids.co.uk website.

Assistant producer working on an e-zine version of The Times ‘1015’ supplement.

I edited a magazine for EFL students.

Wrote features and regular columns for kids/ teens in UK nationals including The Times (10:15), Young Telegraph and Funday Times.

I gained a distinction at Trinity Cert TEFL.
