Assist with all aspects of the grant development process. Help develop proposal ideas, find appropriate funding sources and write grant requests. Write compelling grants that detail the need, goals and objectives, methods, evaluation strategy, and budget. Current clients are the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation and San Diego Botanic Garden. Past clients include San Diego Blood Bank, Oceanside YMCA, Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos, Special Olympics, House of Hospitality in Balboa Park, and Fresh Start Surgical Gifts.

I have been a board member for the San Elijo Elementary School Parent/Teacher Organization since 2007. In this position I have been responsible for reviewing teacher grant requests, planning and organizing events, updating PTO website, editing PTO newsletter, and setting policy.

Served a two year term on the San Marcos Community Foundation board and in this role I was responsible for meeting with potential grant recipients, reviewing grants for feasibility and fundability and making recommendations for grantmaking.

Early Childhood Resources is a recognized leader in school reform in the Bay Area.
