Project Management•Participate actively and effectively in UPPR Town team discussions on key policy and strategic issues and direction for socio economic development of the extreme poor.•Undertake regular participatory monitoring and supervision of project activities including collection, compilation, consolidation, processing and analysis of data on different project components, and documentation;•Contribute to project identification, development, appraisal, monitoring, review and evaluation, ensuring that all initiatives clearly contribute towards poverty reduction.Community Mobilization•Facilitate primary group formation, savings and credit group development and community development committees (CDCs);Social Development Activities•Support CDCs to organize participatory community appraisal sand family surveys to identify community needs, problems, priorities, and opportunities for social development, education and training; •Provide support to the communities to translate the community development needs into community social development action plans; •Facilitate negotiations with local service providers, NGOs, community leaders, the private sector for acquiring resources and technical assistance for social development interventions.•Follow up and supervision of work to ensure quality control during implementation of community contracts by the CDCs;Economic Development Activities •Facilitate focus group discussions and community market survey for assessing socio-economic needs and opportunities for economic development of the communities.•Assess local business opportunities and support the communities to identify potential trades and enterprises for life skill enhancement (apprentice) training.Training and Capacity Building•Design and develop need based training programmes on financial and business management, technical and life skill development, social and economic development, leadership and community development etc.;
