Food is my passion and has been for most of my adult life! I worked in the hotel industry for over 35 years and started out as entry level positions at the Key Bridge Marriot in DC, moved to Hawaii when I was 18 and it was then I was introduced to so many food cultures. This is where I started and kept going in the food industry through hotels. I moved to the Outer Banks of NC 25 years ago where I started as a Director of Food and Beverage at one of the top hotels on the beach, and changed the whole department to show the cultures of how diverse food & beverage is and should be! Planning events is my specialty, from the first call to all the details to make an event successful! Choosing me as your planner will give you confidence that the entire process will be professional, elegant and fun! I realized that I could use my expertise outside of the hotel business, so I decided to go and pursue that part of my life. I left the hotel business as a Director of Sales and Catering and started consulting for Mulligans Beach Catering. It was an easy process and what I needed in my life to have the ability to plan events, help clients meet budgets and use my expertise in food to create menus to please the palates!
