I have been with the Cleveland Clinic for over 24 years, and have worked in many areas in many different capacities. I am currently in the Internal Audit department utilizing all of my years of coding experience working with outside auditors who come here to audit inpatient claims. I am able to find the documentation or verification of the work completed for that episode of care. Having the experience I do in the multiple different areas in my work history, I am knowledgeable of where the information is processed, stored or kept in EPIC. I was a Supervisor in the Laboratory department and learned a great deal about how records are posted in the systems and were to look if they come from outside the CCF process.
