About Robin Reid

Robin Reid is an Associate Professor in the Tourism Management Department at Thompson Rivers University (TRU). Her research interest in cultural narrative, and sense of place in urban, rural and wilderness settings has resulted in publications across interdisciplinary contexts. Robin has travelled extensively and has developed further interests in exploring sustainable responses to cultural and environmental impacts of climate change and tourism at the local level. Robin is the recipient of the TRU 2014 Teaching Excellence Award and the TRU 2017 Excellence in Internationalization Award.
