As the fifth employee of the start-up company, I set-up Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and did all accounting, payroll and HR for the first year. Developed reporting features for the parent company's knowledge of sales, cash flow, AR and AP on a weekly basis. New employee handbook, new 401(k) program as well as generated many new policies and procedures. As the company continued to double in sales and grow from 20-30 employees to 115 employees, my responsibilities narrowed to payroll and HR Manager. Rolled out the paperless benefit sign-up process and helped employees navigate the new system. Spear-headed the United Way campaign and set-up many other employee benefits.

Responsible for the operation of the office including all accounting and HR. Accounting included AP and AR, cash management, month-end reports and general ledger entries. HR work included payroll and all payroll taxes, garnishments and all compliance paperwork. Instituted many cost-cutting measures, streamlined operations, worked with auditors at year-end as well as general liability audits and workman's comp audits.
