Meine Aufgaben im Bereich Peptide Manufacturing Downstream IV umfassen unter anderem:- Das Aufgiessen und Entladen von Lyophillisatoren, sowie das Filtrieren von Endstufen in Reinräumen unter ISO7 BedingungenDie Abteilung PMDIV reinigt End und Zwischenstufen mittels Lyophillisation für Grosskunden wie Eli Lilly and Company oder Novo Nordisk auf.

My responsibilities include:- Coordinating and organizing a 5-person shift- Training new employees- Providing support for personnel shortages in other shiftsI work in small component preparation, which provides consumables and produces setups for multiple production operations in Basel Biotech. Small component preparation is a critical bottleneck in production and requires careful coordination and planning. I particularly enjoy the variety of this work and the opportunity to learn leadership skills.In addition to my main responsibilities, I also serve as a Single Lims Key User and 5S Lead MAB.

As part of the PROS (Production Services) team at Basel Biotech, I was responsible for providing media and buffer solutions, as well as small components (such as sterilized seals and blind covers) for fermentation and purification. I worked under GMP and ISO-4 conditions to meet the highest quality standards.In addition, I applied my skills as a Single Lims Key User, 5S Lead MAB, and Change Agent to create an efficient and safe work environment for the future. My goal was not only to work on myself but also to contribute to a smoother and more effective workflow.

I was responsible for the production and filling of the antibiotic Rozephin (Ceftriaxone) while complying with highly demanding pharmaceutical conditions (ISO 3+4). During this work, I gained valuable experience in the manufacturing and shipping of pharmaceutical products.

Hier habe ich meine Begeisterung für die chemische Produktion entdeckt. Bei H.C. Starck (jetzt Höganäs) war ich an der Herstellung von Wolfram auf Basis seiner Oxide beteiligt und bin zum ersten mal mit dem Beruf des Chemikanten in Kontakt gekommen.
