OVERVIEW I’m an executive, advisor, and board member with deep financial and accounting expertise developed through more than two decades in financial leadership roles with public and private companies across diverse industries. I love the challenge of continuously making a company stronger by building cross-functional relationships and establishing efficient and effectively controlled operations. Over the years, I’ve partnered with CEOs, boards, and stakeholders enterprise-wide to lead and manage the change necessary to scale and grow businesses. This includes ensuring compliance with public company regulations, doing the preparation necessary to take a company public, and supporting financing rounds for equity-financed operations. HIGHLIGHTS• WOMEN’S HEALTHCARE: I’ve recently served as an interim CFO and advisor to a growing private-equity-backed fertility practice (Spring Fertility) and a pre-IPO women-centered integrative care practice (Tia), helping both organizations develop the financial strategies and procedures needed to achieve their goals. • ONE MEDICAL (Nasdaq: ONEM): I provided the systems and controls needed to support rapid growth from 27 to 77 locations and 33% CAGR while preparing for an IPO in 2020. • THE MELT: I created the accounting infrastructure needed for this equity-financed organization to scale to 14 stores and eight food trucks in under two years. • PEET’S COFFEE (Nasdaq: PEET): I led the public company controller function ensuring compliance with SEC and SOX regulations during an eight year period of significant product and distribution expansion culminating in the $1B sale of the company in 2012. • RESOURCES CONNECTION: I led SOX compliance activities for a $100B financial institution, a $100M REIT, and a $120M CPG company, and planned/executed a $1B asset capitalization audit for a large healthcare enterprise. WHAT NEXT?Looking forward, I’m entertaining opportunities to join a couple of corporate boards and plan to continue as a financial operations consultant for growing organizations.
