Design and teach courses focused on leadership concepts, skills and self-awareness to mid-career professionals enrolled in executive masters programs. Topics include: adaptive leadership theory and practice, emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, managing difficult conversations, creating and inspiring high performance teams, leadership and coaching, diversity and inclusion, stress and individual and organizational resilience and leading in a crisis. Facilitate critical de-briefings and results of 360 experiences.  Student Evaluations: Consistently ranked between 4.5 and 5 on 5-point scale

Provided advice and counsel to Dean/VP and her executive staff in the School of Professional Studies, served as co-chair of Committee on Diversity and Inclusion

Provided leadership and vision to a team of program directors who built the largest pre-college summer program in the United States. Academic programs included  6,000 talented high school students from around the world. Doubled the size of program in five years.

Created and led the Leadership Institute, a pre-college summer program for talented high school students from around the world. The Institute is focused on helping students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to become socially responsible leaders. These courses took place on campus and at other locations around the world. Directed the program and also taught workshops on leadership skills in all classes and programs. Grew program from 60 to 500 students in eight years.

Served as Chief Student Affairs officer for the University and as a member of the President’s Executive staff.  Responsible for campus based support services: residential life, health services, counseling center, chaplains, crisis management, student conduct, student activities and diversity and inclusion programming. Led large staff of several hundred serving 6,000 undergraduates and 1,500 graduate students. Highly experienced in crisis management, assessment of programmatic impact, strategic planning, inspiring and motivating staff, recruiting a diverse staff team and building an inclusive and high performing team.

Worked as a therapist with undergraduate and graduate students and created an outreach program that included therapeutic groups and workshops focused on serving students who had eating disorders or had been sexually assaulted. Also conducted educational programs on stress, anxiety management, managing relationships, conflict resolution, etc. Created the program and within three years was reaching 1,000 students per year.
