Served as Interim Director of Philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy - New York State for 11 months, overseeing a staff of 16 with a $25 million annual philanthropic budget. Helped steer a $35 million capital campaign, created a new charter for the Board of Directors to raise the give and get level, and oversaw the day-to-day fundraising.

Raised both principal and major gifts for the NYC office and international programs. Was then appointed (see above) to serve as interim director of philanthropy.

Served as a board member for six years and as chair of the luncheon program for three years. WID is a wonderful, volunteer organization for women in fundraising … helping women to network, build skills, find mentors and learn more about the field. I also volunteer as a WID mentor a few times a year.

Led fundraising for pre-clinical medical research. Worked with a team to raise gifts from major donors -- raising more than $60 million in one year -- toward the Medical Center's $1 billion campaign goal. Personally raised two gifts of $15 million for medical research. Also raised foundation funds for the medical school.

Managed institutional fundraising at four New York hospitals -- Beth Israel, St. Luke's, Roosevelt and LICH.

Oversaw institutional giving and stewardship at Beth Israel. Primary focus was working for the Department of Pain and Palliative Care, the Cancer Center and Women's Health. When Beth Israel created Continuum Health Partners, I worked with the institutional fundraising at the other NY partner hospitals.
