I got to know soft pastels as a medium as a portrait artist at Opryland Theme Park in Nashville, Tennessee in 1986. This led to the opening of my first portrait business, Immortal Images, in Nashville, where I gained a wide customer base of locals and tourists from all over the US as a vendor at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. I continued doing portraits after returning to my native South Carolina and throughout the years.In August 2017 I decided to shift my focus solely to animals. I launched “Pet Portraits by Rockin' Robin” as part of my existing jewelry and accessories business, Rockin' Robin Designz. As an ardent animal lover, I strive to capture the souls of our furry friends, giving special attention to the eyes. They tell a story. Love is in the details.

As a professional karaoke dj/host host since 1994, I have hosted karaoke shows at Patti's BackStage in Rock Hill, SC from Feb. 2012 to the present. I am also a singer/songwriter and keyboard player, having played professionally with 12 variety bands along the east coast, Nashville, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. I love to perform all types of music. To me, good music is good music, no matter what genre.
