My work is a result of many years of field observation of birds in Neotropical forests, studying and observing birds and other fauna and its behavior, as well as spending plenty of time reviewing scientific collections, in order to achieve realistic portraitures of the species; museum specimens are always consulted, and revised time and time again, so as to better understand the subject. Live specimens of course have been used when possible, since life is full of surprises.
