Formally CFC Azul, A.C. Connecticut joined the USL’s Premier Development League (PDL) for the 2012 season, becoming the only soccer franchise based in Connecticut. Along with a men’s PDL team, A.C. Connecticut will work closely with local travel programs and provide the area’s best regional soccer program involving the best local soccer ambassadors and coaches, using the best facilities and focusing on the technical, tactical, physical and psychosocial components of the game to improve our players.Players will have a distinct pathway, through Developmental (U9-U11) – Regional teams (U12 – U17 A.C. Connecticut) – Academy (Beachside) – PDL (Mens A.C. Connecticut).

Connecticut Football Club - Connecticut's Premier Soccer Program. Our club is a full service club that caters to all levels of players from a women's professional team (CFC Passion) to Youth Developmental Programs for 9 and 10 year olds.The club has four distinct branches at the younger ages: CFC Arsenal (Lower Fairfield County), CFC Gunners (Upper Fairfield County), CFC Impact (New Haven County) & CFC Wolves/Wildcats (Rocky Hill/Hartford County).At U15, the four branches come together to form CFC United teams. With the opening of the CFC Arena, teams are able to train year round rain or shine.With a coaching staff that includes 15 college coaches, 7 current or former ODP staff coaches, 2 Regional Staff coaches and 2 National Staff coaches, we believe our staff matches up favorably with any staff in the country. Emphasis is on player development in a team setting, with a focus on preparing players to pursue the game at whatever level they decide.
