Managing the Media Organization and Archival Project for a non-profit Wildlife Conservation and Environmental/Community group based in Namibia and the US. Project duties include multiple aspects of photographic and video organization, labeling/tagging, uploading and verification. Identification of several aspects of content including wildlife species, individuals, locations, veterinary procedures, animal behavior, program procedures, etc. Maintaining an accurate and descriptive archive of media for use by CCF and other organizations.

Project and Operations Management for a non-profit Meditation and Teaching Center, and temple/residence for Buddhist monastics. This role currently includes aspects of program and event management, promotion, social media outreach, residence management, financial management, records management, community service, etc.Our fully-ordained head Buddhist nun is a passionate, and compassionate, Charlotte native. She uses her 20+ years as a monastic to teach meditation, and works to adapt Buddhist philosophy for our modern world. She is involved in inter-faith dialogues and services, and works with the local community in many capacities. Training Performance Horses and their owners for competition in Reining, Working Cowhorse, Ranch Riding, Ranch Versatility, and related disciplines has been my passion for over 20 years. I give lessons to riders from beginning to National Show level. From starting babies to finished show horses, my program maintains a focus on positive attitude, trust and willingly working toward each horse and rider's potential. I bring my clients and their horses to several shows each season, working toward forward progression and personal improvement as we go. The creation of a happy, healthy, solid, safe and long-term horse and rider team is paramount to my business. I choose appropriate mounts for my riders and appropriate challenges for my horses, so that we can all achieve our goals in a reasonable manner without injury to the mind or bodies of horses or riders. I strive every day to do this with understanding, calmness, and appreciation for each other's efforts to work hard individually, and as a team, keeping soundness and joy foremost in all of our efforts.

Trained horses from 6 months through the 2 year-old starting/"breaking" process, up to finished show horses in the National/International Competition Show ring. Specialized in Working Cowhorses and Reining Horses, with the goal of regional and national competition. Showed horses for owners in competition, gave lessons and trained horse owners/riders to ride, manage and show horses. Buying and selling of prospects and show horses. Cared for every aspect of the horses and their well-being, including feed programs, long-term goals, mental and physical health, competition career planning, breeding, etc. Secondary tasks included minor to intermediate veterinary care and procedures, soundness assessments, transport and hauling up to 8-horse trailers, use of farm/ranch equipment including various tractors, implements, vehicles, and tools. Also some care, training and maintenance of cattle herds and facilities.
