With over 30 years of experience in Program Management in the fields of Hematology and Oncology, I helped create, organize, and develop several Continuing Medical Education activities including the Acute Leukemia Forum, Acute Leukemia for the Community, Non-neoplastic Hematology, and yearly satellite symposia during the American Society of Hematology Corporate Friday and during the American Society of Clinical Oncology, ensuring that all ACCME guidelines were met and followed. Physician attendees received their accreditation certificates after completing these meetings, which they presented to their individual boards attesting to the number of hours spent within the activity. In addition, I organized Independent Medical Education meetings following all of the same ACCME guidelines to ensure scientifically rigorous and unbiased presentations including Epigenetics in Cancer, and the Platelets International Symposium. Also, I was responsible for organizing and managing several smaller fellows programs, nursing and pharmacy meetings.
