• As part of Magellan’s Digital Transformation Team, my role of Director SAP Global Business Process Ownership (SAP GPO) is a key role in leveraging and adopting SAP within an Aerospace / Industry 4.0 that will contribute to the future competitiveness in the Aerospace and Defense industry.• Responsible for contributing to the final optimised business process design, featuring robust business controls and all related key performance indicators, suitable for deployment across all Magellan Aerospace geographies and lines of business. • Ensure business process designs are pragmatically balanced between ease of adoption of SAP best practice configuration versus the current MOS (Magellan Operating Systems) guidance, flexing both for an affordably sustainable and efficient solution.• Participate as a member of the SAP leadership team in the tactical and strategic governance of the global SAP implementation and support. Build collaborative relationships within the SAP and IT leadership team inclusive of divisional and functional (Directors).• Maintain strong working relationships with MOS leadership, being an advocate and champion for MOS and SAP alignment. Maintains a strong indirect reporting relationship with the VP Corporate Stewardship & Operational Excellence.• Robust diplomatic skills and ability to help senior business leaders see value, opportunities, and risks beyond their own area of expertise.• Own the end to end process design addressing political, organisational and regional differences in how work is conducted.• Facilitating and driving continuous improvement in global processes and tools once SAP is deployed to a division by establishing cross divisional peer teams / councils within Operations, Engineering, Quality, procurement, and finance with the objectives of creating a unified vision of how work will be performed (process), standardised data and metrics fully aligned with MOS, and consistent reporting and dashboards.

Accountable for collaborating with SAP functional, technical, and architecture teams as well as other key business resources, in providing functional support for the implementation of the module. As the SAP Functional Lead, I am responsible for completing functional specifications, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, knowledge transfer to Magellan’s project team, and management of the subsequent operation of the module.  Business Process• Participation in relevant workshops with system integrators and drive standardization of business processes leveraging out-of-the-box solutions in SAP • Provide guidance to internal teams on best practices in adopting S/4HANA out-of-the-box solutions in SAP DTS.• Create workarounds and drive alignment to workarounds in S/4HANA to reduce RICEWF • Provide expertise in master data configuration decisions • Participate in design decisions on integration with non-SAP systems  Configuration and Testing• Configure SAP S/4HANA DTS and related modules; develop scenarios and test to address business requirements • Validate proposed solutions from system integrator • Review and drive configuration and testing outcomes with the system integrator teams  Data Migration • Provide expertise in identifying the relevant master and transactional data required for data migration in one or more of the abovementioned modules• Contribute to Data Migration efforts working with functional team and IT • Provide guidance on as well as execute best practices in data cleansing and data extraction for migration  Training and Advisory • Provide training to internal teams on specific areas in and related modules, as needed • Be in advisory role to business and IT for hands-on usage of S/4HANA functionality • Keep pace with the evolving S/4HANA roadmap, research and run internal Proof of Concept sessions, as needed, for better features and better alternatives in S/4HANA to address business requirements

The system automatically assumed that the MRP reschedule date could be achieve and moved them automatically. System and process now has a stepped reschedule message methodology throughout the supply chain resulting in a stable production plan. Transferral from standard purchase orders to long term Supplier Schedules with Fixed and Flexible horizons for all Suppliers, excluding DLF (Direct Line Feed) & Consignment.  Creation of Supplier OTD performance metrics, including supplier ranking. Developed Xdocking methodology to remove transactional and physical waste from the process. Creation of forward looking Load & Capacity charts and Load Factor efficiency measures. KPi's now an integral part of the weekly Operations review.

Main accountabilities Functionally responsible for all Business planning assumptions – Strategies, Budget, Rough Cut modelling, Sales & Operations Forecasting, Load & Capacity, Inventory. Direct responsibility for all physical Logistics activities. First line support to Head of Business (Deputy, Conscience). Management of Stores personnel - raw material, detail parts receipt, despatch. Indirect management of Third Party physical logistics provider. Creation & management of Measures / KPI’s that ensures the business is performing as planned.  Customer interface for the business. First line support for all SAP queries, help, improvements.Achievements Improved Customer on time delivery performance to 97% by implementation of buffer policies at the end of manufacture without increasing inventory levels Implementation of HUD (Heads up display) with machine facility to amalgamate key measures to ensure the Value Stream management team is focussed on the whole performance of the business. This was adopted across site. Weekly planning / operational reviews to ensure the business / Value Stream is on plan; i.e. Utilising the available capacity to discharge the given planned load. Allowing the business to make informed decisions on whether to pull forward load, utilise surge capacity (overtime), offload tactically, recruit short term Developed a long term forecasting tool based upon historical consumption, preventing any future material shortfalls due to unforeseen overconsumptions against the MRP forecast. Implementation of MPS methodology to ensure supply chain stability (internal manufacturing plan & external purchasing requirements) in line with long term build rates, ignoring the Customer’s short term unstable forecasts
