I am responsible for the testing and development of bioprosthetic heart valves and cardiovascular devices which entails following strict guidelines and ISO standards, the handling and presenting of sensitive data, and the design, development, and operation of test equipment. I manage and coordinate a test team to improve efficiency and streamlining of RnD and verification testing, as well as supervise students and interns when given the opportunity. I also manage the maintenance of test equipment, draw up protocols and write reports for testing, complete IQOQPQ protocols. Calibration of all equipment is done by myself, as well as all repairs. 1. I have co-authored a paper on 3D printed heart valves with ETH Zurich.2. Co-authored a paper with an amazing group of researchers that's the culmination of a decade of research and development on a novel delivery system and valve technology.

Intern in the Sustainable Intrapreneurship Program. Experience in the Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP) project and Industrial Energy Efficient (IEE) project, with focus on resource and energy management. Completed an advanced, and expert, steam optimisation course. Achieved Top 3 in South Africa for 'Best achievements' in the program for 2013.
