 Plans and directs flow of air traffic moving to overseas destinations. Opens files on the dedicated software system for each shipment. Ships freight, prepares documentation and waybills, assesses charges, and collects fees for shipments. Negotiates with domestic customers, as intermediary for foreign customers, to resolve problems and arrive at mutual agreements. Examines invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations.  Prepares reports of transactions to facilitate billing of shippers and foreign customers. Examines documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements, to verify conversion of merchandise weights or volumes into system used by other countries. Coverts foreign currency figures into United States monetary equivalents, or domestic currency into foreign equivalents. Corresponds with foreign networks. Is responsible for moving shipments on time and keeping file documents in an accurate manner. Update customer profiles to show the latest contracts, system requires, POA’s, and other necessary paperwork.

 Maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Process documents and information through the C2C, Class, Lomas, Share Site, Worldport, Matrix, etc… Taking control of the responsibility for establishing specific new accounts. Review documents and forms, maintain communication with clients, and review the export process. Maintain client profiles and databases. Coordinate shipments to the carrier and any other government agency examinations, and documents that may be required to process the shipments. Perform all functions within times frames for processing the delivery of cargo and invoices to the client. Schedule the collection of cargo in a timely manner. Communicate with overseas offices  Obtain 5S Audits and set action items that need to be completed to move to the next stage in going showcase. Obtain 5S meetings throughout the company Keeping track of LEAN progress throughout the company Maintaining training manuals on each procedure  Working in conjunction with the manager to keep the department in compliance with sustaining set goals driven by Senior Management. Process Kaizens to establish where improved processes. Establish the MIFA process for the accounts handled in the air export department.
