Robin Stanton is a co-founder and prior owner of Sacred Journey Hospice. She remained with Sacred Journey after she and her co-founders sold to Jack Draughon in 2016. Sacred Journey was acquired by BrightSpring Health, a leading provider of comprehensive home and community-based health services in 2021. In 2022, Robin went back to her hospice roots and joined a locally owned and managed start up hospice company in Athens Georgia appropriately named Family Hospice. With a focus on taking care of the hospice team, Family Hospice in Athens grew tremendously in both size and reputation in 2022 and Family has added Macon GA, Greenville SC and Metro Atlanta locations in 2023. "Let Family Take You Home" is the company motto. Local roots give Family Hospice an advantage because the focus is always in the community where their families live. Corporate approval to fix a service issue or handle a special request isn't a waiting game as decisions are made locally, with the community and our family in mind. Robin has 30 years of experience in the healthcare arena having achieved her RN degree in 1994 and spending 10 years in acute care Oncology nursing before co-founding Sacred Journey in 2001. Since that time she has gained extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of hospice operations including functioning as CFO.
