Member in Expert Management Team of IEC - International Electrotechnical Commission , Geneva, Switzerland since 2012. I am a member from India in following committees -IEC TC 121/SC121A/MT8 for Terminal blocks and Clamping Units -IEC TC 121/SC121A/WG1 for Insulation Coordination These national and international committees work on standards formation and development. As a member, I make contribution in my capacity for standards development and formation process at national and international levels

In Charge of Product Testing & Calibration. Was in charge of Quality Management System

 Was assigned with responsibility of developing vendors for indigenization of instrument transformers and D.C. power supplies which were then imported. Was also responsible for developing vendor base for carrying out electronic assemblies in and around Vadodara. Achieved indigenization of Instrument Transformers, Voltage Transformers and DC Power Supplies for FM Transmitters for All India Radio (AIR) (Year 1985 -1990) and Doppler Radars for Airport Authority of India (AAI). This resulted in notable savings in Foreign Exchange at a time when imports were restricted. Developed vendors in Vadodara, Pune, Chennai and Bangalore for precision electronic assembly, soldering, inspection and testing of electronic assemblies with surface mount components and for Colour Monitors (completely knock down kits imported from BARCO NV, Belgium) for use in the then Door Darshan Kendra (DDK) studios across India. Propmoted to Sr.Engineer rank in the year 1990 Was assigned with responsibility of in-house electronic assembly, manufacture of coils and cable assembly and soldering process.Was also a member of standards development committee in GCEL Played key role in graduating GCEL to the then published IPC standards for electronic assemblies. In this process, also worked to educate / train industries (small as well as multinationals like ABB, Siemens) in and around Vadodara (Year 1990-1995) Rose to the rank of Manager in the year 1994 with additional responsibility of technical publications  Played key role in establishing quality management system at GCEL as per standard ISO 9001:1994 with Design process in scope of certification (Year 1995 – 1998).

Was In charge of Production of Microprocessor based systems and blood analysers.It was then one of the early starters by NRI’s to make microprocessor based computers. Mr.Sam Pitroda was closely associated with the company and I have distinction of having one to one interactions with this great personality.Matters on interaction related technical advancements and product features we can improve in products at DIPL.
