Theatricals: Negotiate and license a high volume of contracts for grand rights, dramatic-performance rights, footage, merchandise, studio recordings, independent contractor, images and special permissions; Oversee rights clearances for owned, controlled and administered properties and special projects.IP Management: Oversee Theatrical-owned trademark registrations, maintain and monitor trademark calendar; Monitor worldwide trademark watch notices for potential infringements and liaise with legal team and outside counsel; Maintain chain of title for 10+ properties from stage to screen.Finance-Copyright: Work closely with Finance teams to ensure accurate revenue processing and successor updates; Analyze contracts and provide payment instructions covering agency commissions, underlying rights, authors and 3rd-party payments; Oversee Theatrical income tracking and invoicing. Legal: Research and analyze contracts for new projects; Maintain essential tickler system to ensure contract compliance and timely completion of contract renewals; Work closely with EVP, Legal & Business Affairs and colleagues on a daily basis on numerous legal and business matters; Collaborate with publishing and creative teams respecting publishing-related deals and contract revision requests. Provide & review legal notices for merchandise and credits for significant stage and film productions; Assist with the development of contract and template revisions.
