I started my work career in the health care field after graduating with my BS in Microbiology from the University of Florida. I was recruited after two years to move to Miami and work with property management, downtown real estate development and construction. as part owner and project manager my duties included HR, insurance, legal, planning and business development.After closing shop in Miami in 1994, I moved to Gulfport MS and in 1996, I was hired as an account executive for a small, privately owned news/talk radio station. I learned about advertising, media relations, client and promotion with on the job training. After 12 years as a radio rep, I was offered a position with Cable One Advertising and I continued my growth in media sales. After 9 years with Cable One, I offered a position with broadcast television where I continue to enjoy meeting and helping business owners with their advertising and marketing plans.
