WHAT I DO: I work with companies to address packaging challenges by identifying new formats, selecting materials that support sustainable packaging initiatives and drive efforts of development and commercial launch. I'm an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of successful launches in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Products industries, particularly in the infant formula category which has high regulatory and quality standards. HOW I WORK: I strive to add value to clients by leveraging my 35+ years of expertise in the identification of new and improved packaging formats, material selection, sustainable packaging optimization, and development of secondary & tertiary packaging for direct-to-consumer and retail markets using ISTA testing practices. I draw on my experience working across numerous product platforms to effectively create and develop strategies and cost savings opportunities for existing and new packaging formats. Skilled in ideation/brainstorming, material selection, package testing, package equipment selection and commercialization and qualification of packaging systems. My expertise extends beyond the package to include the entire brand strategy and manufacturing/logistics system to ensure the right issues are considered and addressed. For companies with junior engineers, I enjoy building capabilities in others through coaching, skills development and mentoring.
